 This is the first time we have a club member as District  Governor and his wife Jeannette District chairman of Inner Wheel,  they will also celebrate their Golden Wedding.. We all wish them an enjoyable year.

I am the first Lady President of our club and we will be working hard again this year to support Local,  National and International good causes. Our District Governor’s International project is raising  money for the final push to eradicate POLIO.  The Bill Gates Foundation has promised $1 million provided Rotary matches this amount.  You can read more about this further on in this web site.

I was born in Aylesbury and married Tim Matthews a local farmer and brick maker in 1965. We have three sons and a foster son.  Sadly Tim died in 1996. I remarried last year Bill Dallas who has four sons and between us eight grandchildren.

I continue to work in the family business and in my spare time enjoy tennis, bridge, music and theatre and of course Inner Wheel and Rotary.
