Rotary International
The Rotary Movement was started in the U.S.A. by Paul Harris and is the home of Rotary,with a President elected each year from its world wide membership. All incoming District Governors attend a meeting in the U.S.A. to hear his/her thoughts and aspirations for the coming year.
Rotary In Great Britain and Ireland
Administers districts within Great Britain & Ireland.
Districts
These have a Governor and committee elected by clubs within their district. On the Governor's return from the U.S.A. there is a meeting of all incoming Club Presidents where he/she informs them of
R.I. Presidents Wishes to which he/she have added their own.
To help in the running of the District it is split into Zones, headed by Assistant Governors.
Clubs
At Club Assembly the President Informs the members of the wishes of the R.I. President,
District Governor's and his/her own thoughts for coming year.
